2024 CPHR Alberta Salary Survey

In partnership with Leger, CPHR Alberta conducted a survey on compensation within the HR profession and existing practices and policies on pay equity and pay transparency in Alberta.


Our previous salary survey was conducted by CPHR Canada in 2021. While we move to conducting this survey at a provincial level, it will not only allow us to have new, up to date information, but a focused look on the province and territories where our members work and live, and over time comparative data to establish trends unique to our membership, their industries and organizations.  


CPHR Alberta will use the data collected through this survey to create a salary report that establishes compensation trends across the profession and establish current trends in pay transparency and pay equity policies within organizations. A final report will be shared with CPHR Alberta members and stakeholders.

Input Received

Online survey of CPHR Alberta members was open July 10, 2024 - August 5, 2024. Email invitations and reminders were sent to CPHR Alberta members via Leger.

Outcomes

Email invitations were sent to n=5,997 CPHR Alberta members. The survey had a response rate of 14%. 


Results were weighted according to the chapter distribution of CPHR Alberta members.


Significant differences: Data in green indicate a significantly higher proportion than the total for that subgroup. Conversely, data in red indicate a significantly lower proportion than the total for that subgroup.
