CPHR ALBERTA PUBLICATIONS
2023 Annual Report
2023 has marked another successful year for the association, as we continue to grow and adapt to the ever changing world of work. With the support of CPHR Canada we have developed a national network of over 31,000 human resources practitioners and professionals across the country and 6,232 in Alberta. We continue to work closely with our provincial counterparts to promote the value of hiring a designated professional, developing comprehensive research and streamlining professional standards processes across Canada.
2022 Annual Report
The association saw growth in many areas in 2022 including membership as we welcomed 756 new members for a total of 6,074. We are in our fourth year of membership growth, with numbers reaching their highest in the association’s history. This is an exciting time for the association as we see increased recognition and demand for the HR profession.
2021 Annual Report
2021 proved to be a year of changes as we continued to operate in a dynamic pandemic environment. Over the year, the CPHR Alberta team stepped outside the traditional business model, implementing several new initiatives to serve our members better and support the advancement of the profession.
2020 Annual Report
For all of us, 2020 brought a lot of challenges and changes. I am proud of the role our profession played and continues to play, leading organizations through the dynamic change. It was a privilege for CPHR Alberta to support our members in delivering over 100 professional development programs in 2020. Our Pandemic Webinar series launched in April to support members with various pandemic-related topics impacting the field of HR. The fall conference transitioned online, where we welcomed over 500 attendees from over 40 communities within Alberta, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. For the first time, we were able to bring our community together, including attendees from other CPHR Canada jurisdictions. The ability to deliver virtually has allowed us to bring professional development programs and other community-building programs to our members in an engaging format wherever they may reside — an exciting prospect for our future programs.
