The role of Human Resource Professionals within an organization continues to evolve and with it, a shifting perspective on the expectations placed on HR when it comes to workplace mental health. Not only that, but a muddiness in accountability and responsibility between HR and the Business might have increased tensions between yourself and the very partners you’re meant to be supporting.
Building relationships and connecting with others on interpersonal levels, while staying the within moral and legal frameworks, is how you will encourage people to thrive, leading to greater job satisfaction and increased value to the bottom line. But that can feel scary, awkward, and hard. Many of us have not yet been taught the skills to navigate mental health in the workplace, barely scratching the surface of reducing the stigma of mental health at work.
Delivered by certified Psychological Health & Safety Advisors, this certificate program will build your skills so you can feel confident engaging in mental health conversations in the workplace, giving you the language, knowledge and confidence to connect with your team, your Business and your Executive and offer support in ways that meet them where they’re at and is good for your organization.
