Director, CPHR Canada Rep

Lisa is an Executive HR consultant and leadership coach with over 25 years of HR and legal experience in public, private and not-for-profit companies spanning energy, healthcare, telecommunications, manufacturing and mining. Lisa started her career as a commercial litigator in Australia, then specializing in employment and labour law before transitioning into HR. Most recently, Lisa was Vice President, HR & Corporate Services for Crescent Point Energy (now Veren), Chief People Officer at Bethany Care Society, and Sr Director, Total Rewards at Agrium (now Nutrien).


Lisa is a corporate director, and has served on the CPHR Alberta Board of Directors since May 2020, including a 2-year term as Board Chair. She is on the Governance Committee and Board of Silvera For Seniors, a not-for-profit provider of housing, services and support for independent seniors in Calgary, and is the Alberta representative on the CPHR Canada Board of Directors. Lisa has a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and Bachelor of Laws degrees from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR), holds her ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors, and is a member of the Law Society of Alberta.
