Chapter Committee
In each Chapter, we have volunteer committees that ensure local needs are met with a standard level of consistency in programming throughout the province. The committees meet regularly to provide feedback on the types of events and topics desired by the Chapter members. Volunteers attend committee meetings as well as provide onsite support for registration and facilitation of Chapter events.

The Discipline Committee handles professional and ethical complaints against Chartered and Candidate members. The Appeals Committee reviews requests for appeals of the decisions from the Discipline Committee.
Editorial Committee
The Editorial Committee assists CPHR Alberta to plan, source, edit and write content for the Association's quarterly publication CPHR Alberta Magazine, monthly e-newsletter, HR Essentials and some external publications.
Mentorship Committee
The Mentorship Committee is made up of CPHR Alberta members in good standing who act in an advisory capacity to CPHR Alberta staff with regard to the structure and function of the Mentorship Program, and who assist CPHR Alberta staff with mentor/protégée matching twice per year (June and December).

Social Media Committee
The Social Media Committee works with the CPHR Alberta team to strengthen and grow the association's online presence and community through community and stakeholder engagement, content contributions, mediation, and content guidance. Members curate content, advise on industry topics and support engagement.
Conference Learning Committee
The CPHR Alberta Conference is the premier professional development and networking event organized by CPHR Alberta each year. "I expected to simply be fulfilled from being a part of something and giving of my time, but what I didn't expect was how much more deeply connected I felt with CPHR AB, it's members, and its events! I think I have been personally motivated to get much more involved with events than I would have otherwise - simply from exposure! I have also met some truly wonderful people (co-committee members) and have had unique opportunities to share my ideas with CPHR AB's program development team. It's been a really holistic experience!"
