Steve Kovacic,

Steve is an energetic, strategic, action-oriented, senior business and HR leader with over 10 years leadership experience in human resources, strategic planning, business development, change management, occupational health, safety and wellness, government relations, and policy analysis/development.
He has partnered with senior executive teams to identify/deliver strategic business-focused HR solutions to meet business strategies in a dynamic company environment. He has also transformed HR teams by streamlining and standardizing HR processes, procedures and systems.
Steve's experience has been gathered through both public and private industry. Having grown a family business for over 15 years in Alberta's competitive Energy sector and exclusively practicing HR in Alberta's public sector. Currently, Steve is the Vice President, People (HR) for Covenant Care and Covenant Living.
Steve holds a graduate certificate in Executive Leadership from the University of Alberta, an MBA from the University of Alberta, a post-graduate degree in Environmental Health from Concordia University, and a Bachelor of Science in Physiology/Pharmacology from the University of Alberta. He is also a certified professional in both Human Resources and Environmental Health, and is currently completing his certification as an international Strategic Management Professional.
